Know the Pass you Carry

Today travelling through Heathrow, I was brutally reminded that I must be confident in who I am.

People will lead you the wrong way if you don't know who you are or rights you are entitled to.

I was hesitant at the fast track boarding gate , I was unsure whether that was where I should go and decided to ask a man who was in uniform , he immediately pointed me to the normal way without even checking my boarding pass.

"I am business class." I squeaked and he said " then scan your boarding pass."

That I did and was through security in 5 mins.

I held the pass to a quicker easier path but was not confident as to where I should go.

Had I not spoken I could have been in another line for an hour.

Some lessons learnt today :

1.People will assume you are worth less than you really are if you are unsure of yourself

2. Read and learn all the advantages that come with the pass you carry.

3. People in authority will give you wrong information sometimes, speak to several people until you are satisfied that you have been steered correctly..
